Walk that Walk
"I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love, & endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." - Ephesians 4:1-3
Earlier this week I read this scripture while giving my "Morning Wake Up Live" on Instagram. (Sidebar: I host a Morning Wake Up Live video every morning at 6AM on my Instagram Live. It includes a scripture of the day, encouraging word, and prayer. Make sure to follow and tune in!) I always read the scripture of the day on my wake up video and this particular scripture had been on my mind all week. It's a wonderful reminder of how awesome we are because of God! If we are called for greatness (which we ALL are), then we have so much power and authority in our arsenal to use.... yet some of us never use it. Have you ever heard the saying "Dress how you would like to be addressed?" It refers to clothing, yet can be applied to so many areas of our life. Think about it, you would never see the CEO of your company behaving in the same manner as your co-workers (ex: hanging out and gossiping around the water cooler, walking into meetings late and not prepared with information, etc.) It’s because they understand the position they hold and they must set an example so that their employees will follow suite.
We must do the same with our lives! Each and every one of us are called to do astronomical wonders in this world (through God, if you believe!), so we must carry ourselves in a way that commands astronomical wonders to occur!
Once you realize and believe that your life is a breeding ground for greatness, your life should (and will) reflect the same! :)
